“Customer service” is undoubtedly one of the most overused phrases in our industry. But, as they say, “the proof is in the pudding” – which is why more than 90% of my business comes to me by word-of-mouth from past clients and others that know the quality of service that I provide. BACKGROUND
I was a double-major at Northwest Nazarene University in the class of 2001. Holding Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering Physics and Music Theory, I have never been a stranger to challenging problem-solving and critical thinking. For two years post-graduation, I worked as a semiconductor process engineer at Micron Technology in Boise. After purchasing my first home, I was inspired to get involved in the real estate business – both on the customer service side as a Sales Associate and also on the investment side as a rental property owner.
I am a licensed Associate Broker in Idaho, as well as a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Idaho Association of Realtors (IAR), and the Ada County Association of Realtors (ACAR). Education continues to be important to me – I holds several educational designations including Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and several corporate relocation designations. These represent just a slice of the many hours of education and practical experience that I apply in my daily business to offer value and expertise to my clients.
Residential property management and ownership is an additional area of expertise of mine. Managing almost 50 of my own residential tenants and another 10-12 properties for other owners, I’d like to think that I have acquired the business acumen of a seasoned real estate investor as well as the “street smarts” of the savvy property manager. Other investors would appreciate the 8 years of management and ownership experience that I have to offer.
For fun, I enjoy being a husband to my wife, Erin, and a daddy to my boy, Carter. I like to play golf (and am praying for the day that I will shoot even par!), skiing, piloting/flying small planes (I am a licensed private pilot), and world travel. One of my burning desires is to visit every continent of the world during my lifetime – yes, this includes Antarctica!
