BACKGROUND

For most people, the process of buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial transactions they will ever undertake. Picking a real estate agent that will best serve your specific needs is a critical component of this process. Outlined below is a brief summary of my background and the values that guide my actions.

I graduated from Gonzaga University with a Masters in Business Administration. With a love for the Pacific Northwest, I accepted a job with Boise Cascade in Portland, Oregon. Little did I know I would spend the next 23 years with Boise Cascade in a variety of sales, marketing, logistics and operational roles that would take me around the globe.

After a couple of years in Portland, Oregon as a Marketing Analyst, I was transferred to Kansas City, Missouri where I spent 6 years working in sales, sales management and operational roles. When the opportunity presented itself to move to Boise, Idaho as International Sales and Marketing Manager, my wife and I packed up our two children and said goodbye to the Midwest.

Over the next ten years, I traveled around the world selling newsprint to publishers and working on a variety of startup ventures requiring logistic support. During this period I met an amazing number of people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Working with such a diverse group of people identifying and providing solutions to their needs was extremely satisfying.

While I had established deep roots in Boise during this ten-year period, the sale of my business unit necessitated that I look for other opportunities within Boise Cascade. As a result, I accepted an opportunity to open a 450-seat call center in Casper, Wyoming. Opening and operating a center of this magnitude was a new experience for me. My strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills, however, played a significant role in my success.

After four years in Casper, the opportunity to operate a manufacturing facility with Boise Cascade in Boise, Idaho was too attractive to turn down. My wife and I once again packed up and moved back to the area we call home. While I enjoyed this new assignment, after two years, I had a longing to put the skills I had refined over the past several years to work in my own business. Working as a real estate professional was an easy decision.

In order to best service my clients, I have spent a great deal of time focusing on continuing education. I have earned both the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation as well as an Associate Broker license.

The key to my past and continued success is a strong work ethic combined with the ability to work with a variety of different people, listen to their needs and achieve a common goal. The fundamental values of integrity and honesty serve as the basis for all of my actions.
