BACKGROUND

REALTOR® John Yochum has lived in the Treasure Valley for over 37 years and is a Boise State University graduate. Being in real estate affords him the flexibility to work and play on his own schedule. Client satisfaction is incredibly important to John, and he finds delight in working with clients to attain their real estate goals.

He prides himself on being direct, honest, and loyal to his clients and colleagues.

John enjoys living in Middleton as he likes the small-town vibe it exudes.

When he’s not working, he finds happiness simply sitting on his patio listening to music while watching the sunset over the trees and a nearby pond. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, snowboarding, and traveling. And on Sunday mornings, you can find him setting out decoys, snowboarding, golfing, fishing, or tending to his family’s 13 cats, five dogs, and two horses.

He also admits that he moonlights as a groom, stall cleaner, chauffeur, and coach for his wife’s Arabian horses. He confides that his wife has a “showing habit” that he happily indulges.

John hopes to develop a wildlife and hunting preserve someday and, in the near term, hopes to expand his real estate business.

Since he has an affinity for hunting and animals, it’s not surprising that he champions causes that support these passions. The Human Society and Ducks Unlimited are two organizations that he’s passionate about serving.

If he could be anywhere right now, John would be snowboarding. But for now, you’ll find him assisting his clients with buying and selling Idaho real estate.
