BACKGROUND

Growing up in Seattle with two Realtors for parents, Jackson has been immersed in the culture of real estate since birth. Licensed since 2000, his mom Heidi has been a top-producer in Seattle for many years. Rick was at the helm of the marketing side of the family real estate business, as well as being a licensed contractor and developer/builder of several beautiful architecturally-significant homes around the city. Well-honed communication skills, an appreciation for good design, and an exemplary work ethic were all natural byproducts of such an upbringing.

Graduating high school in 2020 and having little interest in the typical 4-year college track, Jackson opted to spend a couple of years essentially apprenticing alongside Rick as they completed a studs-out remodel of a midcentury home in north Seattle. Discovering he really enjoyed working with his hands, Jackson moved to Idaho Falls and enrolled in the CEI welding program, working in fabrication shops throughout his time there, as well as catching the eye of the only female in the class. By the time they both graduated with their Associates of Applied Science and Welding Technology degrees, he and Taja were engaged, with a wedding and baby girl soon following.

In the fall of 2025 Jackson became a licensed Realtor himself, and has joined in the family business. He intends to use his innate people skills, and knowledge of building/design, into a successful real estate career. With Rick and Heidi still very active in Seattle’s real estate market, and Heidi also holding an Idaho RE license, Jackson looks forward to leveraging over 26 years of experience as he joins Team Ward in helping buyers and sellers navigate today’s busy housing market.
